Afraid of everything, even his own shadow, Scaredy Cat learns how to be brave with the help of his two old friends Hula and Hoop as well as his newly made friends from your kindergarten or preschool. An interactive performance Scaredy Cat encourages participation through questions, volunteers and dress ups. Scaredy Cat will travel to your kindergarten or pre-school. With three professional actors this is a fantastic show for young children. Watch them learn and enjoy themselves!

PRIMARY SCHOOLS
DUMP CITY
Aimed at primary school ages this show has something for five year olds all the way up to 12 year olds. Dump City is the story of three children who must learn how to recycle and look after the earth so that people in the future will still have somewhere to live! Full of physical comedy, a bit of music and dance this show is enjoyable at the same time as being educational. With help from the audience the three “children” learn how to take care of their home, school and community so that the earth is a nicer place to live. Dump City will travel to your primary school. With three professional actors this is a show that your children will thoroughly enjoy and remember!

SHORT FILM COURSE
Future Te Aroha provides a unique opportunity to travel to our centre and make your own short film in a day! We will send you a script package with a template of how to write a short film and detailing what sets, costumes and props we have available. As a group you will write the script and send it to us in preparation. On the day we will have a break down of where, when and how we are going to film each scene. Future Te Aroha will provide a professional tutor along with the camera, lighting and sound gear. We encourage anyone who is keen to learn how to use a camera, or a budding director to let us know so we can make them a part of the process. Our professional editor will edit the short film together and send it to you on a DVD as well as a mini DV tape (usable in most home video cameras).
